Flare Path
By Village News Team
Set at a coastal RAF hotel during the Second World War, the play follows Patricia Graham, a London actress married to bomber pilot Teddy Graham. When Hollywood star Peter Kyle arrives at the hotel and Teddy is sent on a dangerous night raid over Germany, Patricia finds herself emotionally torn — caught between a rekindled old flame and loyalty to the husband who relies on her for support. As those waiting at the hotel learn a plane has gone missing, tensions escalate amid the uncertainty.
Flare Path by Terence Rattigan, directed by Jenny Nash, ran for three nights at the village hall.
